In a frenzy of iHerb big sale in September 2018 (remember?) I ordered five Dear Klairs products to see what all the fuss and enthusiasm was about. Not all products were as amazing as i’ve heard, everything is detailed in the post. Hope you’ll like it 🙂
Dear Klairs is well known Korean brand with environmental and health values. Klairs products are non-parabens, no silicon, no artificial colors and no artificial fragrance. They are made from vegan ingredients and have not been tested on animals.
Description: This is a moisturizing toner that nourishes the skin and prepares it for the absorption of the ingredients that will be applied after it. Toner balances the level of pH in the skin and improves the effectiveness of your skin care routine. It is composed of plant extracts and ingredients that designed to soothe the skin and provide deep and good hydration. This toner is supposed to be odorless, the original toner contains essential oils, but Dear Klairs has listen to the people and created this toner withouth scent. or is it…?
This is a toner but not as you thought. This is toner that nourishes the skin with moisture, rather than toner that cleans the face. You do not put it on cotton wool, you need to apply it with your fingers. I don’t know what the original toner smells like, but the odorless toner has a very unpleasant synthetic smell. Also it feels a little stupid to hit myself in the face 🙂. This toner / serum / essence thing actually excellent in moisturizing the skin and immediately feels improvement on dry skin. His minus is the smell.

Description: Nightly peptide serum highly concentrated in blue color 🙂 it significantly improves the skin and adds to it glow. It encourages the skin to produce collagen and accelerates the process of skin rejuvenation. It improves the texture and elasticity of the skin, reduces pigmentation and age spots and helps to blur the wrinkles.
I was pretty upset with the serum, its texture is really liquid and very uncomfortable to apply, you can see evidence in the video. I had a hard time using it but I used it for about two weeks. Unfortunately, against all the good reviews I saw, I did not feel any benefit to it, not something special anyway. I would be happy to receive your feedback about it 🙂 Please comment bellow.

Description: A gentle moisturizer for the night designed to provide instant moisture and soothe the skin. The main ingredient in Klairs cream is Guaiazulene. It is a natural compound derived from chamomile oil that gives the cream its blue color. The cream is designed to reduce redness and soothe the skin after exposure to the sun. The cream is suitable for oily skin, sensitive skin, and acne-prone skin.
The cream has a similar, but more gentle, and less noticeable smell to the toner. It helps to improves the texture and elasticity of the face, it is very nice as a night cream. In the morning when I washed my face with water, I felt I was removing a thick layer of the cream. It stays on the skin like a night mask that nourishes it during sleep. I do not have irritated red skin so I can not testify if he helps in this field. I have combination skin that tends to oily. I also felt it’s excellent moisture and improved texture of the skin. Love it!

Finally something of Dear Klairs without a terrible smell. The tencel mask is very soothing and moisturizes the skin. The mask leaves the skin with a really cool and pleasant feeling. I removed it after 20 minutes and tried to absorb all the stuff but the quantity was really high. I was left with a cool, sticky feeling on my face, which passed after about two hours. The mask gives a moisturizing lotion to the skin and I highly recommend it!

Description: This is a tencel mask designed to soothe the skin and treat the pores. The mask contains a white willow extract for deep cleansing of the pores from the unnecessary sebum residues that block them. Erythritol (this is a sugar sweetener) in the mask gives it the ability to cool and soothe the skin. The mask itself is made of bamboo charcoal, it is a soft black cloth that gives a pleasant feeling to the face and helps the hydration process.
The mask comes in two parts that are placed on the face. I have not yet had the use of a two-piece cloth mask, and that’s really nice. I left the mask for 20 minutes and then took it off. After the removal I have a feeling of vagueness in my face because they are really cold! The texture of the mask felt greasy on my face, as if I’d put a lot of oil. It took about two hours before the mask was completely absorbed and the oily feeling disappeared. The mask is supposed to soothe the skin and clean the pores. I have not seen any change in my pores, but it does nourish and soothe the skin.

My conclusion from Dear Klairs is that first of all their goal is to make us look funny, and beat ourselves … That is nice but I’m more comfortable rubbing. I was a little disappointed by the toner because of its smell, and the serum mostly because of its texture, but I liked the rest of it.
